If you smell gas, leave the property and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. If a carbon monoxide alarm sounds or anyone feels unwell, move into fresh air and call 999. For an oil leak, switch the appliance off if it is safe to do so, contain the oil without touching it, and call a qualified OFTEC technician.
