The problem
The boiler was not firing, leaving the customer without dependable heating and hot water.
Our investigation & work
PCR responded the same day and tested the boiler to identify a failed photocell. A new analogue photocell was ordered from our supplier and fitted the following day. During the return visit, Alex also completed a full strip-down and clean oil boiler service, including cleaning the MagnaClean filter.
The outcome
Heating and hot water were restored. The boiler was left safe, operational and serviced for the year ahead.
